Croatia VI: Hvar

OMG ...HVAR!!! No wonder this island is on the top 10 of the most beautiful islands of the world.  We wanted to go there on a ferry straight from Korcula, but, oh surprise, there are only  direct services from Korcula to Hvar (with car ) two days a week (I think it was on Fridays and Sundays, or something like that). So we had to take a ferry to Drvenik and from there take another one to Hvar. But it was ok because then we arrived in Hvar just in time to see the sunset, and believe me, sunsets in Hvar are one of the prettiest things I have ever seen. The sky becomes pink and all the little islands around Hvar look like if they were floating, it is just amazing.

It was quite late when we arrive to Stari Grad, so we decided to look for a sobe. Luckily we saw an accommodation office, and they put us in contact with a sobe owner who showed us a perfect place, and we felt lucky because we were very tired to start looking for a place to sleep. We loved Stari Grad, it is quiet and with loads of charm .

And here some shots from Vrboska, a little cute town quite near  of Stari Grad and Hvar.

And finally, the beautiful Hvar. We were so impressed about its beauty that we decided to stay one extra night to enjoy it.

In the port you find little boats that drive you to beautiful beaches, and that was our favourite activity in Hvar.
